Hi Everyone,
November is nearly finished and it has been one of the most surreal months in the bands history. We spent the first week of the month performing on The Celtic Thunder Caribbean Cruise. The five day cruise took in Jamaica and the Grand Cayman and by god was it spectacular. Never in our wildest dreams did we think as a band would we be visiting such cool places while as part of a tour. We have visited some amazing places over the last few years but the Cruise is up there as one of the coolest things we have ever done. Pictures are on facebook!
After the cruise we got to perform for our first time in Florida. We got to perform in Sarasota, Orlando and Jacksonville. The three cities were all so different from each other but a lot of fun. Through performing at these places we actually bumped into friends and relations out there which some of us had not seen for a long time. Small world eh?
Since the tour we have been working very hard on putting together our 3rd album!!!! We love the new sets that we have already got and we are dying to perform them for you all next year. First though we got to get all the material together and lock it down in the studio.
Yesterday we released a new video which was taken backstage in the Green Room at Sligo Live Festival. Pretty cool setting! You can watch it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TtthTEoGDs
Next bit of touring on the schedule is a 7 week tour of China. We will be heading off on the 18th of December until the 5th of February! Its going to be an experience of a lifetime as you can imagine. It will tough being away from family on Christmas day but having the 5 of us together will make it special. Gigging is what we love so we will get over it!
Hopefully when we come back from China we will have the album recorded before heading off to the States again on the 25th of February!
Also if you check out this months edition of Irish Music Magazine there is an article on our past year and some future projects we are working on. One that might take ye by surprise……!!
Fun and interesting times ahead!
Stay in touch,
Goitse
